Dear Arena Fit Family:

As I always say, fitness isn't a destination, it's a journey, and these last two years have certainly been a journey. At Arena Fit, we have enjoyed two wonderful years of dynamic, ever-changing workouts with an engaging, supportive "Fit Family" we call our own. It's been a challenging two years, but one thing has always remained the same – my commitment and dedication to you and to helping you attain your fitness goals. My goal in opening the gym was to create a safe, non-judgmental space to try new things, set goals, and experience the journey. I have successfully done that, but I believe our members are ready for more.

As a small business owner, I am also on a journey and have spent countless hours trying to determine the best path forward for Arena Fit. Since I committed to opening in the fall of 2019, a lot has changed. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that we would open our doors in the middle of a global pandemic. I also never imagined the explosive growth Sioux Falls would experience these past two years and its impact on my law practice and growing property company. I've tried to give each company the attention they so rightfully deserve, but the demands of each have been a struggle to balance.

I have learned some valuable lessons these past few years about entrepreneurship that I will never forget. Namely, entrepreneurship requires self-reflection and intellectual honestly about not only what you can provide to a business, but more importantly what you can’t.

To regain balance and allow our Arena Fit Family to continue on their journey, I approached B|Well Brookings and asked if they would be interested in leading this next chapter of Arena Fit. They have graciously accepted my invitation. After exploring many different options, I selected B|Well because of their commitment to their B|Well Family. Further, the dynamic and evolving class offerings of kickboxing, strength training, hot yoga, and cycling options were a perfect for our Arena Fit Family. I cannot speak highly enough of the B|Well owners, Bri and Josh Fiedler. Both are wonderfully warm and welcoming people who have built a culture at B|Well that is second to none. I am confident that you will be in good hands with their leadership.

Bri and Josh will become the owners of Arena Fit on July 1. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing lots of important information regarding the transition.

Each of you has been an essential part of the Arena Fit Family, and I know that Bri and Josh are the best people to help you continue your fitness journey.
